WHAT’S THE STORY?: Growing up in London, front man Leon Carlin had been working on his vocals and song writing techniques with aspirations to drive a rock band to success. Three South African brothers arrived at Heathrow Airport with guitars in their hands and a month’s rent looking for a front man and bassist. A year later after countless hours of hunting down the right front man, guitarist Jay reversed his van into Leon’s motorbike. After trying to avoid an insurance claim, the three brothers invited Leon around for a few pints. But they never got around to the drink as Leon spotted the equipment and the rest of the night was spent jamming with the boys. An early mate of Leon’s borrowed a bass from a friend and joined him at a rehearsal session with the boys and ended up as the fifth member on bass.
