SOUNDS LIKE: A maelstrom of melodic majesty doing its upmost to blow the lame metal overlords still ruling the roost in the hearts and minds of the hoards of wallet-chain sporters clean out of town. Backyard Babies… these guys ain’t!

LINE UP: Chris Gittins (vocals/bass) / Richard Gittins (guitar/vocals) / Sid Fawcett (rhythm guitar) / Alex Lucas (drums)

WHAT’S THE STORY?: Based around a melting pot of sounds and influences (Beach Boys, Led Zeppelin, Manics, Rush) lovingly re-worked and re-invented for the modern age by the Gittins brothers, Rich and Chris have been on the Nottingham scene for aeons. The current line-up crystallised in the mid-noughties though and since then the siblings have gone into songwriting overdrive. Currently in the process of talking to a leading independent label about a publishing deal, the quartet (joined by fellow Nottinghamian Alex and Lincolner Sid) are a welcome breath of fresh air in a city too heavily anchored to the Rock City metal and goth scene.
