1. Tell us who you are and where you’re from.: We are an all original rock band based out of Minneapolis, MN USA.
2. Describe your music.: Organic and abstract heavy rock infused with tinges of funk, hip-hop, and jazz.
3. Tell us how the band formed in three sentences.: Dennis (Guitar/Vocals), Jer (Guitar/Vocals), and Brett (Bass/Vocals) were in a post-hardcore band called “Remover” which broke up in 2001. Dennis, Lance (Drums/Samples), & Jer immediately formed Casanatra and rocked it as a three piece for years to come. Brett was without a band after leaving Atmosphere and was asked to join Casanatra to add the low end in the summer of 2009.
4. What did you do before you were in a band?: We’ve all consistently been in bands since Junior High. We practiced our instruments and honed our skills while others did their homework.

6. What’s the band up to over the next few months?: Promoting “Split The Atom Again” worldwide and playing as many shows as possible to as many new faces as we can.
7. Best item of fan mail you’ve ever received?: A young woman from Sydney Australia wrote us to say that our music had helped her out of a depression and kept her inspired while she got back on her feet. That’s about the greatest piece of fan mail I can imagine getting.
8. What music do you have on repeat in the tourbus? : Outkast “Stankonia”, Jane’s Addiction “Nothing’s Shocking”, Slipknot “Vol. 3: The Subliminal Verses”
9. What gear do you use?: Gibson Les Paul and Fender Telecaster Guitars; Fender Jazz Basses; Mesa Boogie, Peavey, and Eden Amplifiers; Marshall and Mesa Boogie Cabinets; Slingerland and Ludwig Marching Drums; Zildjian and Paiste Cymbals; Roland Samplers.
10. What’s your best on-tour story?: What goes on the road, stays on the road my friend.
11. What do you demand on your rider?: Beer, Jack Daniels, and Gold Toe Socks.
