INTERVIEW: Charlie Indestructible

RHV: Tell us who you are and where you're from?.
We're Charlie Indestructible, a rock band from Luton Bedfordshire

RHV: Describe your music.
That's a tough one! Energetic good time rock music, we write songs that make us want to move, scream, shout and dance. Basically music you can get on down too.

RHV: Tell us how the band formed in three sentences.
The band formed from members being in previous bands together, we soon realised that the most fun was had when our previous bands would do a show together. We decided to cut out the middle man and form a rocking band where we could all party, all of the time!

RHV: What did you do before you were in a band?
Partied a lot and never went to uni.

RHV: List the first CDs/records each of you bought.
Mark (Vox) Nirvana - Nevermind
Greg (Guitar) Iron Maiden - Number Of The Beast
Jon (Guitar/Vox) Guns'N'Roses - Use Your Illusion
Tony (Drums) Pulp - Different Class
Joe (Bass) The Spice Girls (Really)

RHV: What's the band up to over the next few months?
Over the next few months we're preparing to record our debut album and also heading out on a UK tour in July. Looking forward to getting over to new audiences and making new tour memories!

RHV: Best item of fan mail you've ever received?
A girl from Norway posted over a portrait she painted of Mark, it's awesome and I now have it framed in my room.

RHV: What music do you have on repeat in the tourbus?
It would be nice to have a tourbus! Generally whoever sits in the front gets to choose, usually along the lines of Brand New, Deftones, Finch or even bands we've played with and swapped CDs with

RHV: What gear do you use?
Tony:- Tama Star Classic Kit, Zildjian Cymbals, Iron Cobra Pedal, Gibralta Rack
Greg:- Custom made Telecaster, Epiphone Les Paul, Linear L50 Head, Line 6 4X12 Cab, Line 6 Pod
Jon:- Epiphone Les Paul, Marshall MA100 Head, Behringer 4X12 Cab
Joe:- Ken Smith Bass, Sans amp preamp, Ampeg SV Head, DBX Compressor, Peavey 4X10 Cab
Mark:- SM58

RHV: What's your best on tour story?
Our singer Mark spent £50 in taxis trekking to and from a girl he pulled at a show's house to get some action, not realising how little time he had and just how far away he was from the coach we had booked. It was a mad race to get to the coach before it left. Leaving the rest of the band trying they're hardest to reason with a rather massive and angry bus driver, it almost ended in us all walking home, however at the last minute we see mark running down the road frantically trying to catch the bus. Thankfully we all got the coach with not much else to do than ridicule and point out to mark that a hooker would have been cheaper and more conveniently located.

RHV: What do you demand on your rider?
Beer, Vodka and KFC!!!!

RHV: What's your website?
