RHV: Tell us who you are and where you're from?.
Grace (vocals and guitar): I come from the Italian island of Elba, Dan Beaulaurier (guitar and backing vocals) is from S.Francisco, Bjorn Zetterlund (bass) is from Sweden, Maurizio Liberato (drums) is also from Italy.
RHV: Describe your music.
It’s a landscape of different moods, sweet one minute, hard hitting the next. Our songs are high energy with wide melodies, raw and intense rock… with some intricate guitar riffs and wailing vocals, pumping bass lines and solid drums.
RHV: Tell us how the band formed in three sentences.
I moved to London and met Dan while working on the music and dance for Oscar Wilde’s Salome’ at Theatro Technis in Camden. We wrote some songs and started playing acoustic gigs, then decided to add bass and drums to complete our sound. We met Maurizio through a mutual friend and Bjorn saw us playing at the 12 Bar in Denmark Street.
RHV: What did you do before you were in a band?
I was studying theatre and contemporary dance, then working at Out On The Floor record store in Camden and busking. Dan was studying Economics. I was traveling the world busking. Bjorn worked as a recording engineer. Maurizio was working as a graphic designer.
RHV: List the first CDs/records each of you bought.
Grace: Not sure… I think it was Duran Duran first album, and Metallica “Ride the Lightning”, Dan “Heartbeat City” by The Cars, Bjorn: Poison “Open up and say ahh” (at least I’m honest!) Maurizio: Rolling Stones
RHV: What's the band up to over the next few months?
We’ll be hitting the road touring in the New Year. Dates to be confirmed soon. Also we are working on new songs and are very excited about new sounds and collaborations.
RHV: Best item of fan mail you've ever received?
A Christmas card with a ring.
RHV: What music do you have on repeat in the tourbus?
Muse, Placebo, Rage Against The Machine, Led Zeppelin.
RHV: What gear do you use?
I play Telecaster and use Rat distortion pedal. Dan plays Telecaster through a Fender Blues Deville. He also uses a few effects: Boss Blues Driver, Tremolo, Delay (DD-6), Reverb + Ibanez Tube Screamer, Dunlop Wah + various. Bjorn plays a Musicman Stingray 4 through EBS pedals and a Mesa Boogie 400+ bass amp. Maurizio plays Pearl.

RHV: What do you demand on your rider?
We were playing in Sheffiield and found ourselves staying at a youth hostel that shall remain nameless…. I went to the loo and was about to shut the door when I realized there wasn’t one! Very nice soft toilet paper though…
