Alternative-electro-dramatists Delooze are currently working on their debut album with Grammy Award winning producer Dom Morley (Adele, Amy Winehouse, Mark Ronson). Their second single to date has achieved airplay on Radio 1 and 6Music, Glastonbury is confirmed and lead-singer Stacey will perform for a 20,000 capacity crowd at the Women’s UEFA Cup Final next month. The Delooze future is looking very bright.

Delfino Square

Sounding like a threesome between La Roux, Pro Green and Rusko, Delfino Square are doing the boy/girl duo thing without an 80’s beat in sight. With a
growing fan base their live act rocks out with dubstep, dnb and future garage, live electronics and proper tunes you can sing to. Listen out for their futuristic
breakbeats on BBC 6Music and on XFM’s The Remix & Xposure.

Cowbell are Jack Sandham and Wednesday Lyle. The duo play garage/soul/rock n roll with a truly British feel, with one foot in the 60’s and one very much in the present. Last year the band released 2 singles which received regular radio plays on BBC 6Music, XFM and Radio 2. 2010 culminated in a 13 date support slot on a UK tour of O2 Academy venues. 2011 has started well for Cowbell with further releases on Too Pure and airplay on 6Music and XFM.

Barbara Kelly

Barbara Kelly formed in early 2010 and after a whirlwind first 6 months on the UK gig circuit, recorded their debut album “Dear Boy” with producer Mark Waterman (Elastica, Go Team, Depeche Mode) in Hackney’s Fortress Studios. The album spearheads the resurgence of Alternative Rock to the UK live music scene mixing stunning vocals, howling blues guitar, rolling bass lines and hard hitting drums. Expect big things from Barbara Kelly in 2011.

The Brights

Every now & then a band comes along who sound like their name & with this Essex based ‘jangle-pop’ foursome that’s exactly what you get. The debut album ‘A Trivial Pursuit’ is out in the UK this summer.

Natalie McCool

Extraordinary; all original; able to calm the most disorderly of minds – you could forgive one as young as singer/guitarist Natalie McCool for buckling under the praise of musical touchstones such as Mark Radcliffe and Chris Martin. Unabashed, she has forged on, winning a Make It Break It award. Record Producer Steve Levine was also amongst the MIBI judges, and was so impressed with Natalie’s outstanding performance, Levine signed her to his label Hubris Records.
