Cee Lo Green, Donovan and more added to Reeperbahn Festival!

Reeperbahn Festival, Hamburg – 23rd – 25th September
Just added: Cee Lo Green, Donovan, Edwyn Collins, Frank Turner, James Yuill, FM Belfast, Cosmo Jarvis, Goldhawks, Ali Love, Kurran and the Wolfnotes, Black Earth, Exit Calm and more!

Hamburg’s new music festival, Reeperbahn Festival, are proud to announce the next batch of big names and up-and-coming buzz bands to grace the portside city this September. Fresh from unveiling his huge track F**k You to a flood of internet buzz, Cee Lo Green will perform at Hamburg’s much anticipated city festival. He will join the likes of veteran musician Donovan, Ivor Novello Award winner Edwyn Collins, folk punk upstart Frank Turner and many more.

With a heavy focus showcasing the artists just on the cusp of breaking into the mainstream, Reeperbahn Festival have also added electronic folk technician James Yuill, Icelandic electro outfit FM Belfast and hotly tipped indie-popster Cosmo Jarvis. They will be joined by the likes of Guardian favourites Goldhawks, synth-pop DJ/producer Ali Love and up and coming indie-folk act Kurran and the Wolfnotes.

These new additions add to the already noteworthy line-up, which includes Marina and the Diamonds, Blood Red Shoes, Band of Skulls, This Will Destroy You and Wolf Parade.

This year’s festival will see over 170 shows in 25 clubs across the cultural and entertainment district of St. Pauls – Germany’s most creative neighbourhood. Known as the area in which The Beatles perfected their craft before hitting the big time exactly 50 years ago, the wicked Reeperbahn mile has become an entertainment boulevard over the last two decades and is well known as a European hot spot for music. The Reeperbahn is still the perfect area to discover new bands and acts as a springboard for breakthrough bands to get awareness. Last year’s Reeperbahn Festival saw Biffy Clyro, Dinosaur Jr. and Editors play alongside rising acts including Dananananaykroyd, Future of the Left and The Cinematics.
