CLASSIXX’S INTO THE VALLEY (feat Karl Dixon) OUT NOW

Green Label Sound release their latest single “Into The Valley (feat Karl Dixon)” by LA producer/DJ’s Michael David and Tyler Blake aka Classixx. “Into the Valley” is a blissful, soul-dripping track that recalls classic house and THE best Larry Levan mixes and is available as a free download exclusively at http://www.greenlabelsound.com.

Classixx was formed in 2007 in Los Angeles by David and Blake and in just three years, the duo has become one of the most respected in dance music. The group is equally adept at creating ubiquitous remixes and scene-creating DJ sets as their own funk-drenched house productions. While both David and Blake listened to punk music growing up, they came together by sharing the mutual agreement that they were each inspired by DFA Records and groups such as Soulwax and Digitalism. Word quickly spread about Classixx’s work. The duo’s production credits include working on “Ill Get You” on Kitsune Records and “No Strings” for soul revivalist Meyer Hawthorne and they have remixed tracks by Phoenix and Holy Ghost! among the many.

The new single “Into the Valley,” is littered with moroder-esque synths and vicious horn licks that anchor the joyous, triumphant song. It’s title is also a play on both the route to the group’s L.A. studio and the parallel spiritual themes on the track.
