Diarmaid O’Meara Structured Noise

“Structured Noise” is the new album from Irelands tough techno peddler and label owner, Diarmaid O Meara. A name that few outside his native country can pronounce let alone spell but has nonetheless been etched into a the minds of a sizeable and ever growing chunk of Europe’s even more sizeable and ever growing Techno cult. After an intense 2008/09 of acclaimed releases across numerous labels, branded at the beginning of 2009 as ‘One to Watch’ by M8 magazine, featured in a myriad of music magazines including Notion and I-DJ Magazine, ezines, national and global radio stations, TV channels, numerous collaborations and a hectic gigging schedule, this techno album is a long time coming and well worth the wait!

Featuring a mix of 16 tracks, all produced/co produced or remixed by O Meara, Structured Noise is a blending of numerous styles of energetic and melodic techno. The album ebbs and flows in a way befitting O Meara’s eclectic style and includes his recent big hitter releases ‘Murdering Disco’, ‘Paranoid’, ‘Bitchbags’ and numerous other released and currently unreleased tracks.

Structured Noise is available on CD and Digital Download through O Meara’s influential Gobsmacked label from December with previews and freebee’s available from his website in November.

Since Diarmaid’s first vinyl release in 2006, his style has been grabbing more and more attention with releases across several labels, support from countless names, almost constant airplay across UK and European radio stations, including BBC Radio 1 Huw Stephens, a regular on XFM’s John Kennedy Xposure show, BBC Radio 1 ATL Dance Show, Absolute Technoise, RTE Radio, KISS FM, NRJ Radio, DI – FM while also guest mixing and broadcasting exclusive sessions for most of these stations thus bringing his intense mixing style to clubs and radios across the UK and Europe.

His latest video was also selected for broadcast on Canada’s #1 Dance Video show BPMTV.

Collaborations and remixes have included Space DJz, DJ Ogi, Robert Armani, Jamie Bissmire and Luke Creed and numerous projects including tracks by Cj Bolland and Dj Kamikaze. There have also been countless releases on numerous labels including London’s ‘Potential Recordings’, Germany’s, ‘Error’ & ‘Now We Do Recordings’, Ireland’s ‘Dublin Xpress’ and of course, his own Gobsmacked label.
