Fat Olive delivers energy in their music with engaging melodies. The awareness of the name Fat Olive is rapidly growing across the North West and the rest of the country. Based in St.Helens, Merseyside, the four-piece are about to embark on a nationwide tour to promote their debut album ‘Twenty2′. The album is set for release early 2010, preceded by this Double A-side single “Vaquero / Awake”, which will be available via download on January 11th.
Live performances are what Fat Olive strive on, producing power and a tightness that can only be described as awesome. The band have gained a respectable fan base through their incredible live performances, having played at many venues in the last few months including Barfly, Liverpool and The Imperial, St.Helens. The band have also picked up a large number of followers worldwide through their myspace and website, with fans from Australia, Sweden, Germany and New Zealand.
Fat Olive is made up of Rich Sanna (Vocals, Rhythm Guitar), Paul Brown (Lead Guitar, Backing Vocals), Steve Ashcroft (Bass) and Colin Bennett (Drums, Backing Vocals).
Having worked together under various guises for a number of years, Paul, Steve and Colin have become one when it comes to writing and performing. The three have been close friends for over 22 years.
