POWERHOUSE UK TRIO RETURN WITH CRUSHING NEW SINGLE AND VIDEO!
Anthemic London three-piece FIREFALLDOWN aren’t your typical rock band. The band, including their former drug addict-turned missionary lead singer, have robed themselves as sonic missionaries, intent on using the power of music to convey life’s larger messages of sacrifice, truth, and love. Far from softening their sound however, their collective drive pumps their music with passionate beats, dexterously tailored melodies, and a surprisingly hard edge. Taking reference from everything from jazz and motown to new wave and hardcore, they’ve cultivated an acutely polished sound akin to Incubus and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Born in London in the Summer of 2006, the Filipino-British trio hit the road relentlessly, touring throughout the UK, Philipines, Poland, and the U.S. Their energetic live shows have been described as ‘dynamic, intriguing and underpinned by a refreshing intelligence’. They soon released two singles, which received airplay on Kerrang! TV, Scuzz, and XFM, and also bagged opening slots for rock gods Coheed and Cambria.
FIREFALLDOWN are now set to launch their brand new single “These Wounds” lifted from their debut album of the same name. The single and album are released under the newly formed Small Town Records sub-label, Love Music Movement, this March. Skillfully balancing innovative melody and crushing riffage with clever off-kilter phrasing, the band are as impassioned as they are seasoned, showcasing their adept ability to deliver killer hooks alongside meaningful lyrics. To coincide with the single, the progressive unit also release a rousing music video. Never ones to take it easy, the band will also be headlining the 150 Fest UK-wide tour next spring. Keep an eye on these ones; they’re moving forward fast.
