Freestylers release ‘Frozen’

Following their massive, three million hit gathering YouTube smash ‘Cracks’, the eclectic duo Freestylers return with another sure-fire club stormer, ‘Frozen’. Having already pricked up the ears of David Guetta and Pharell Williams when the guys recently played it at Adelaide’s Summerdayze Festival, Frozen powers ahead with a nagging, haunting piano melody and features psychedelic, sixties style vocals from hot new vocalist Joshua Steele aka Flux Pavilion. The track rounds off with a 140 new jungle twist and raucous, crowd shaking bassline.

Cookie Monsta steps in for the remix delivering a body-contorting feast of drum, bass and everything else in between as scratched up riffs fire around all layers. The gentle piano melody makes a brief reappearance with muted vocals before the screaming bass sees off this so-hot-its-on-fire rework. One for the dubstep massive!

Wizard dips his sleeves in with the Freestylers next on ‘Killasound’, an unapologetically slick affair soon to be rocking dancefloors throughout the scene. Inspired by Congo Natty, the track is a nod back to their ragga roots, a raw and ready feast of old school junglist beats in their finest form.
