Stone Temple Pilots’ frontman Scott Weiland will be playing an Xbox Game with Fame session on June 1st! Fans that are Gold Members will have a chance to play him in Halo 3.

Scott Weiland, vocalist and frontman of popular band Stone Temple Pilots, will visit Xbox LIVE® to play Gold Members in Halo® 3. If you’re a Gold Member (if you’re not a Member, upgrade here: join Xbox Tuesday, June 1, starting at 7:00 p.m. EST and meet this legendary member of STP and Velvet Revolver.

Stone Temple Pilots burst onto the scene in 1992 with their album Core, fully reveling in the grunge movement going on at the time, and racking up an impressive eight-times certified platinum sales record. Over the next few years, they released four more studio albums, including Purple (1994), Tiny Music … Songs from the Vatican Gift Shop (1996), No. 4 (1999), and Shangri-La Dee Da (2001). The band broke up in 2003, and Weiland moved on to join the band Velvet Revolver releasing two albums with that group. But now, Stone Temple Pilots have reunited with a brand new self-titled album, and are currently on tour across the country.
