We The Faceless

We The Faceless recently announced their new release will be the single “Isle of Dogs” which is due to be released mid August. Their previous EP “We The Faceless” led to a wave of critical acclaim, and was featured regularly on Kerrang Radio’s Unsigned show with Alex Baker, whom they’ll be live in the studio with on July 5 performing acoustically.

Formed in March 2007, ‘We The Faceless’ are London’s ‘new grunge’ sensation. Heavily influenced by the punk, hardcore and grunge scenes of the 1990’s, the band has brought their diverse musical and cultural backgrounds together to give the sound a modern twist.

We The Faceless released “Taxi Driver EP” in March 2009, which saw them receive regular airplay on Kerrang! Radio’s Unsigned Show with Alex Baker, leading to a live session to be recorded on July 5th to support the release of their new single.

The four-piece play music fuelled by a raucous edge that always guarantees an energetic and entertaining delivery. The dense but minimal sound allows the music to charge on with compelling contrasts between the vulnerable but powerful vocals and the surrounding instrumental storm.

Played with the same energy and passion we expect from bands like Nirvana, Rage Against the Machine, Deftones, Pearl Jam and Mudhoney – all fused into one sound, We The Faceless have become one of the most popular and exciting acts in the country – demonstrated by their following in the UK and abroad. In May 2009, they’ve been selected to perform on the main stage at North-by-North West Festival, Blackpool!
