WHAT’S THE STORY?: This single is categorically targeted at the drum and bass audience and while the genre isn’t a specialist topic of mine, I can clearly decipher that `Bright Lights’ will satisfy clubbers throughout the UK.
There are three iterations of the single within this CD: “Radio Edit”, “Rockers Mix” and “Rollers Mix”.

Unsurprisingly, the radio edit has a strong focus on the vocals of guest artist, William Cartwright, who accordingly adds a catchy RnB element to the track.

In comparison, the other remixes drift from mainstream acceptability. At track 2, the “Rockers Mix” is an unremitting drum and bass track that perpetuates an accelerative pace. In contrast, the “Rollers Mix” imparts a more ambient experience and leaves the consumer with a CD that explores both ends of the drum and bass musical scale.

SOUNDS LIKE: Chase & Status, Dj Friction, Andy C.

YOU’LL LIKE THIS IF: RnB and DnB are your two favourite abbreviations in the entire universe.
