WHAT’S THE STORY?: Mojo Fury’s debut single, `The Mann’, is a deafening demonstration of alt-rock that simply cannot be played at anything less than maximum volume. There isn’t a catchy chorus here, nor are there radio-friendly pop melodies. Nevertheless, as an alarm tone, `The Mann’ would undoubtedly wake you for work at 7:15am, and it is destined to cause movement on venue floors throughout the country.

The track has parallels with old Biffy Clyro material, yet its vocals radiate an unwavering, sleazy, rock ‘n roll attitude that firmly distinguishes Mojo Fury’s sound as their own.

Music as vociferous as this won’t appeal to everyone, but alt-rock fans will be more than satisfied with this thunderous inaugural single.

SOUNDS LIKE: Biffy Clyro and Pulled Apart By Horses aggresively playing their instruments at an extremely loud volume to annoy their neighbours.

YOU’LL LIKE THIS IF: Harmonic choruses and poppy melodies aren’t really your forte.
