WHAT’S THE STORY?: Though at times Ono Palindromes leave you wondering how lead singer Andy Death ever holds a conversation without downing a bottle of cough syrup, his growly sounds are very much at home among the band’s perfect mix of thundering bass lines and relentless guitars.

SOUNDS LIKE: The similarities with Nirvana are obvious, and the band bear a resemblance to Nine Black Alps’ earlier/better stuff too.

YOU’LL LIKE THIS IF: You like words that are spelt the same when read backwards or forwards…. and you also like a bit of grit in your grunge.
