WHAT’S THE STORY?: Following on from a Glastonbury appearance, movie soundtracks and support slots for The Specials and Levellers, Pama International re-release their self titled debut album on the back of another successsful
year. Since forming in 2001 Pama International have been a consistently inspiring presence in the British reggae scene. A couple of unnecessary album tracks aside an impressive album to say the least, imagine dreaming of the 60’s, sitting with your idol Paul McCartney, Pama International playing in the background wouldnt be entirely inconceivable. The UK’s leading dub collective have created a surprisingly versatile record with the stylish “If you want me to stay” and the wonderfully romantic “Love we give” but skip to “Second Chance” for some raw, classic reggae.

SOUNDS LIKE: The Specials, a hint of madness and some slight similarities with Hard-Fi ( but maybe that’s just me)

YOU’LL LIKE THIS IF: You know whats good for you.
