WHAT’S THE STORY?: It is very difficult to pinpoint exactly what ‘Elementary of Youth’ and its B-side ‘Silent Canon’ are actually about, this however does not distract from the brash, confident quality of both tracks. Sound of Guns have just the right amount of Gallagher swagger to become the next big thing in British rock and roll.

SOUNDS LIKE: Some of the sing along guilty pleasure quality of Gaslight Anthem, with the added bonus that it is completely ok to say you like sound of guns without any repercussions for your street cred.

YOU’LL LIKE THIS IF: If you believe that Liverpool is still producing phenomenal eclectic mix of music talent and your keen to hear the latest.
