WHAT’S THE STORY?: The second single from The Charlatans new album (‘Who We Touch’) ‘My Foolish Pride’ is unaffected and down to earth, a prefect slice of indie pop.

SOUNDS LIKE: Although it does sound a little bit like The Charlatans have borrowed Cheryl Cole’s auto-tuner the latest single from the Charlatans ‘My Foolish Pride’ is a catchy, jolly little number that sound contemporary enough to pull in a new generation of scenesters, and enough like their old tunes so that Charlatans loyalists won’t feel isolated.

YOU’LL LIKE THIS IF: You’re pleased to see an indie band with longevity and effortless cool, even if the band are getting on a bit.
